 A traditional wedding shower, also known as a bridal shower, is a party that is for ladies only. However with the trend of wedding showers today, Couple wedding showers are becoming popular where more and more soon-to-be brides and grooms are being honored together by their friends and families. Unlike with traditional sandwich and pastel décor type showers, a couple shower is more casual and usually involves a meal or hors d'oeuvre. Beers and wines are often served also depending on the time of day and event. Indeed, to plan of throwing a shower party for the couple may seem like a challenging task but planning and preparing smartly can pull it all together easily.

The Preparation

The first thing you should consider is your budget. Decide how much you can and willing to spend. Determining a budget will guide you in many decisions you will be facing during the process of planning.

Next is to make the guest list. The guests you should include are those people whom the couple would want to be present at the party. You may ask the couple, their families and friends to ensure you are not missing those that should attend. Make the most of this time by asking for contact information of the guests. Just be mindful of your budget and limit the list accordingly.
